Day 1 of our big adventure to the north midwest

We drove 148 miles and made it to Waynesville, NC in time for supper.  Our new Dometic CFX40w chest refrigerator is working great, we actually have cold food storage!  A nice salad with rotisserie chicken and some lemon cake for desert.

Tomorrow we continue heading toward West Virginia.

Getting ready for our upcoming trip.

We are about to leave on a six to eight week trip across the north mid-west.  Spending some time getting the RV ready, I sanitized the freshwater tank and gave the RV a complete cleaning.  I like to go through it and remove any items that we won't need.  I have learned that a lot of stuff is not really needed and just takes up precious storage space.

The Campsites at Disney Fort Wilderness Site 1730

We spent five nights at The Campsites at Disney Fort Wilderness.  It is a very nice campground, loved the bus service in the campground.  Very clean and well maintained.
