We left Omaha after shopping in Cabela's, I was planning on it being cooler and only brought one pair of shorts.
We then headed to Lincoln and visited the state capital building. It was an amazing building. It was completed in 1932, but the artwork was put off due to the depression. The beautiful artwork, painting, murals and mosiacs were completed layer.
We then headed to Beatrice to start the Heritage Highway Scenic Byway to the west. Due to Covid19 many things were closed there too. Even the two downtown movie theaters had sings in the windows saying curbside service. I guess they were trying to sell concession items.
We drove through Geneva and took some photos. We pulled into a gas station just before it started to hail some. That was great timing!
Next stop was Cabela's in Kearney for the night.
Traveling the United States in our No Boundries 19.1 toy hauler and Coachmen Beyond Class B.

There is plenty to see at the farm, but most amazing is his barn which was saved from falling down.

Day 3 - Made it to Commerce, MO
We stayed last night at a place with no internet access so I couldn't post last night.
Yesterday we left Jackson, TN, we stayed at Samuel T Bryant distillery. They are a Harvests Host location and we had a peaceful night.
In the morning we headed out with no real plans on any places to see along our route.
We saw a sign for Casey Jones house and pull off the Interstate to see it. There we found an interesting tourist stop with a museum, shopping and a restaurant. The museum was closed, so we we'd around the grounds.
Our next stop was Dyersburg, TN. We walked around downtown and had a nice break in driving. The old bus station is now a restaurant, but it was closed too.
Our next stop was New Madrid, MO. We stopped and walked out on the Mississippi River overlook.
Back on the road to the River Ridge Winery in Commerce where went spent the night. It was wonderful! They had live music and a large crowd. We enjoy some nachos and wine before going to bed.
