Made it back home

We left Atmore and drove straight home with only two stops.  First stop in Evergreen at Conecuh Sausage, we enjoy their sausages and like stopping here.  We bought six pounds of sausage, different flavors, and we will enjoy them here at home and on our trip to Key West.

Next stop was at the Georgia welcome station on I85.  They have some interesting solar panels there, some are in the parking lot and you drive over them.  I will post a video soon about them.

Pulled into our drive about 9 pm, glad to be home so we can get ready for our next trip.

Had fun in Biloxi and Ocean Springs

We had a good night's rest at Harrah's oversize parking lot.  We went to Shearwater Pottery in Ocean Springs, we like to go there everytime we are in Biloxi.

Afterwards we headed back to Biloxi  and enjoyed a great buffet at Harrah's, Monday they have a senior price of $6.50!

Spent some time in the casino and loss a little money, but that is how casinos stay in business.

Getting late in the day so we hit the road heading to our next stop for the night.  We like the free RV parking at the Wind Creek Casino in Atmore, AL.

Spent the night in Biloxi at Harrah's Casino

We left Westlake heading towards Biloxi and stopped to visit the Tobasco museum on Avery Island.  When buying our tickets I was given a little bottle of Tabasco, like the ones that come in MREs, with a USCG label on it.  I thanked them for it, it will be a nice addition to my souvenirs.

We enjoyed our tour, I will post a video later.

We made it to Biloxi about 9:30 pm and they was 10 RVs already parked.  We had a good night's rest and are looking forward to checking out Biloxi today

Westlake and good morning

We had a nice drive through Mississippi and Louisiana.  Port Gibson and Natchez have some amazing homes and buildings to see as you drive through.  We crossed the Mighty Mississippi River at Natchez and stopped in Vidalia, LA to pick up some food.

We crossed the I 10 bridge at Lake Charles, I so dislike that bridge, and settled into the parking lot at the Isle of Capri in Westlake.

The cats are with our daughter and son in law so everyone is happy now, especially the cats.

Here is our view out the window this morning.

On the road for a short trip to deliver some cats.

Our daughter moved to Texas and we have been watching her cats until they buy a house.  They bought one and now we are taking her cats to her.  We spent last night in Vicksburg, MS in the parking lot of a pet hotel.  We figured the cats needed a break from their crates and we wanted to sleep in peace.  Imagine two cats and Spike trying to sleep in a Class B!

Leaving here soon heading towards Lake Charles.
