We spent last night in Virginia City Nevada

We spent last night at a Harvests Host location in Virginia City.  It was a peaceful night there, we did enjoy a few beers and street tacos at their bar.

The sunset was beautiful!

This morning we walked around Virginia City taken in the sights.

I had a couple great days!

While we were in Wendover I received a message from a Coast Guard buddy and he invited me to his home.  I told Debra and said it was about a 300 mile trip to his home.  She said tell him we were on our way!

We are friends on Facebook and chat with each other,  but we have not seen each other in over 37 years!

It was great to see other and relive old memories.

We also visited Atlantic City, a town with rich history,  but sadly appears to be slipping away.

Day 30 - Eating lunch in Idaho Falls.

We have been to many places since my last post.   We have been  staying pretty much in areas without cell phone service,  so I couldn't post.

We have spent time in Yellowstone,  Cody, Cook City and a bunch of other places.

Last night we camped at Craters of the Moon, that was interesting to say the least.  The night sky was unbelievable,  we saw the Milky Way and that was nice.

Today we drove through Atomic City, pretty much a ghost town today.

Day 23 - Made it to Emigrant MT

We had a great time in Cody, we spent two days there and left for Yellowstone.  We spent four days at Yellowstone, three nights.  I have not had any internet until tonight.

Yellowstone was amazing!  My only problem with Yellowstone was a Ranger saw my camera and asked if I made money off my photos and videos.  I told the truth and said yes, so he told me I needed a license and walked me to my van to put up my gear.  But luckily Spike took over filming for me, he will be posting some videos on his YouTube channel which is perfectly legal.  Spike to the rescue!

We saw Old Faithful erupt, that was nice.  But, we also saw Steamboat erupt and that was unbelievable!
